
Like the Regenerators, Iron Maidens will grow back whatever you’ve blown off quicker than you can kill them and the only way to dispatch of these monsters is killing the parasite located in front AND in back of these monsters. Iron Maidens are the same basic creature as the Regenerator except they have giant friggin’ spikes sticking out all over their bodies, meaning that if they go in for a hug, you’re going to have a lot of new holes. The only way to kill them is to kill the parasite located either on their front or their back, depending on the mode you are playing. Regenerators heal themselves quickly which means they are difficult to kill.

Las Plagas created a variety of mutations and one of the scariest of the bunch was something called Regenerators. In Resident Evil 4 (widely considered one of the best installations in the entire franchise), there was an introduction to the first use of a mind-controlling parasite turned weapons called the Las Plagas, which is different from the parasitic virus, Uroboros that was let loose in the African villages in Resident Evil 5.
